E8 Fixed Centrifuge Troubleshooting Guide

This guide will help you quickly identify and resolve common issues you may encounter with your unit. Before starting any troubleshooting:

  • Ensure the centrifuge is on a level surface
  • Verify proper power connection
  • Check that all tubes are properly balanced
  • Confirm the lid is completely closed

Common Issues and Solutions:

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Unit Won't Power On
  • Power switch light faulty
  • Power adapter issue
  • Power jack problem

  2. Try a different outlet

Unit Won't Spin
  • Lid latch misalignment
  • Blown fuse
  • Faulty lid sensor
  1. Check lid latch points to 12 o'clock
  2. Adjust latch if needed

Clicking or Vibration
  • Unbalanced tubes
  • Loose tube shields
  1. Remove and check all tubes

Stops During Operation

  • Fixed speed range: 500-3,500 RPM
  • Speed tolerance: +10% / -5%
  • 30-minute timer included
  • No fuse or speed wheel

Speed Requirements

  • Minimum: 500 RPM
  • Maximum: 3,500 RPM
  • Normal operating range: Within specified tolerances

Important Notes

  • All returned Revision H units are upgraded to Revision I
